Skin Care Advice for Beautiful and Healthy Skin

Hi loves,

Just a quick one today to give you some quick tips on how to keep your skin in its best condition. I've tried to keep it simple and to the point.

  • Skin Renewal

Some tiny scars on the skin surface caused by dryness are usually left unnoticed. To make subsequent skin-care routines count, these scars must be fixed first. Otherwise, the skin will fail to absorb or preserve any kind of skincare nutrients. It’s recommended to use products containing hyaluronic acid, which reduces dryness and boosts hydration. Water for hydrating the skin is key, BUT it's not the only thing that contributes to hydrated skin - you do need a product with hydrating properties in.

  • Conditioning

After restoring the skin barrier, you can start conditioning the balance of oil and water in your skin. You can choose the skincare products suitable for your skin type (not condition, skin type and conditions are 2 different things). For example, oil-control products are for oily skin, moisturising products are for dry skin, and products with simple and gentle ingredients are for sensitive skin.

  • Brightening

Your skin is healthy when the oil and water in the skin are balanced. At this time, you can apply whitening or spot-correcting products to boost the metabolism of melanin, which helps visibly brighten skin and diminish the number and intensity of dark spots and skin discolourations.

Follow the three skincare steps and maintain healthy skin, and then applying make-up will be a lot easier for you too! It's also fab after a dermaplaning facial hehe.

Moisturising is the most important step in skincare. When basic moisturising is done, you are half successful. Only when oil & water balance is done and skin becomes healthy can those following the skincare process be effective.

Therefore, start by hydrating your skin! Improve the skin texture step by step, and then you will have beautiful and healthy skin. And remember, men you have to do this too! Skin is skin no matter your gender. You are ALL more than welcome here in my clinic.

If you're not sure what products to buy, let me know and I can recommend and help you write plans for your clients. education@thetopmostacademy.com

Love always
